Become a key contributor to the overall success of ImageWare Systems products by contributing to the team as a Technical Sr. Sales Engineer who will be responsible for supporting the technical aspects of the customer sales journey through the entire pre-sales processes. 

The successful candidate is located in the tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut). This is a remote position and the selected candidate must be able to work independently and effectively from their remote office and be located near an international airport.

We combine cloud and mobile technology to offer multi-factor authentication for smartphone, tablet, and desktop users.

GoVerifyID is a mobile application and software development kit for providing out-of-band, biometric identity authentication for both the iOS and Android platforms. It works with our CloudID, biometric authentication, SaaS platform and services.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Provides pre-sales technical support by understanding the technical capabilities and design-in considerations of the Company products.
  • Develops and delivers technical and sales-oriented presentations and product demonstrations to customer's technical staff and senior management.
  • Interacts with customers (managers and technical staff) to clarify and document custom delivery requirements and project plans to implement or deploy technical solutions, and hand-off results to service delivery personnel.
  • Provides feedback to product management and engineering on Company products and competitive information received from our customers
  • Documents accurate integration reference design approaches based on any customer's unique usage of Company APIs and SDK capabilities.
  • Compares technology choices that customers face, promoting the company products and services, while neutralizing competitor's positions.
  • Attends conferences and trade shows as directed by supervisor.
  • Supports sales staff to identify, qualify and support new sales leads as necessary.
  • Travel expectations are up to 50% of this position; including international travel that requires a valid passport.
  • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be defined or assigned from time to time.

Minimum Experience and Education:

  • A technical degree from a two to four-year college or university program or equivalent experience
  • MCSE and CompTIA Security+ certified (preferred); AWS CSA (helpful)
  • Minimum five years applicable experience within the technology or software industry
  • At least two years exposure to and involvement with cloud-based Software as a Service offerings
  • At least two years exposure to and involvement with cyber security products and services

Skills, Knowledge and Ability:

  • Knowledge of sales principles and practices
  • Familiarity and comfort with consultancy sales styles and techniques
  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with customers, suppliers, and other company personnel. Bilingual ability in English/Spanish a plus
  • Capacity to understand, interpret and explain complex technical systems
  • Ability to demonstrate products in a knowledgeable professional manner
  • Demonstrated experience in the presentation and sale of software including experience with Android and iOS operating systems
  • Proven ability to establish a professional and effective rapport with the customer
  • Experience with Identity Management, biometrics, and/or mobile a plus
